ach pair is handmade following long lasting footwear techniques made by the best artisans of the city, who have more than 40 years of experience in the handmade footwear industry and whose value and quality has allowed us to continue offering a unique product in the market.

It is thanks to their expertise and teamwork that we have achieved a constant improvement with all our collaborators and artisans, creating an atmosphere of respect and cordial treatment inside and outside the company.

The Making of a pair of made to order boots

Like craft beer, each pair takes up to two weeks to complete, allowing the leather to take its shape without the use of chemicals or any other mechanical process.

We love making shoes this way, as it allows us to offer the highest quality product and create jobs for the artisans who put their heart and soul into every step of making each pair of U|L.

As if this were not enough, it also gives us the opportunity to produce custom orders, customizing colors, types of leather, color of ribbons and even place your name, initials or a short word or logo by placing it on the tongue of the shoe.

Our footwear is made to order in small batches. This way, we eliminate any excess production that may end up being wasted. We only produce what is necessary.

QUALITY IN EVERY PAIR

Not all shoes are made the same, but ours have the best quality materials available. Since our shoes are made in small batches, we have optimized quality over quantity, which allows us to take care of every detail.

Highly durable premium hardware, domestic and American full grain vegetable tanned leather that allows for better aging, leather appearance and durability over the years. Kevlar brand high resistance laces, different styles of high quality soles, anti-skid and abrasion resistant are some of the materials you can find in your Umberto|Luce shoes.

Our entire line of "RIDER" and "SPECIAL RIDER" motorcycles are protected with the latest D3O® technology. 

D3O is a material technology developed by a British chemical engineering company of the same name, whose main advantages are its high impact resistance and its adaptability to different shapes and densities.

D3O® offers the finest and most advanced protection against shocks and falls, but that's not all: it is also in helmets, gloves and other protective equipment used around the world by soldiers, professional athletes, industrial workers and motorcyclists. So if they trust D3O®, you can too.

It should be noted that D3O does not market its products directly to consumers. It only makes agreements with other brands for the direct distribution of its products, which must pass several tests and a rigid quality standard that guarantees the use of this product with the applicant brand.
